Launched in 2003 as the U.S. Fellowships component of the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Fellowship program, the program aims to:

  • Raise awareness of the contribution of women to the sciences
  • Identify exceptional female researchers in the U.S. to serve as role models for younger generations

Meet the 2014 Fellows, post-doctoral researchers who make an impact, and review the requirements to determine if you or someone you know will qualify to apply in the near future!

The value of the event is a mulit-disciplinary, multi-rank event where faculty can set individual goals, share their progress and move forward with publications or other scholarly writing.  Past participants said preparing for the event was useful, even as much as the time to write.
