Lehigh's Foster Lectured at Easton's Sigal Museum

You are here

On March 16, Lehigh's Natlie Foster gave a lecture at the Sigal Museum  in recognition of women's history month.  The lecture was promoted in several ways, including on the Easton Patc.

The original lecture summary said: Women have been "doing science" as long as science has been done. And they've been doing it well! This talk uses history to set the stage for the current exciting contributions being made by women in all fields of science. Data collected in an NSF-funded study by the American Chemical Society on the participation of women in the chemical sciences underscores the progress that has been made as well as issues that still need attention.

Thanks to Dr. Foster for speaking about this topic!
