Congratulations to Dr. Shalinee Kishore, PI of the newly funded NSF CyberSEES project. She will lead an interdisciplinary team to study and optimize the operations of future wave farms, which will test the production of electricity across an array of wave energy conversion devices. Research suggests women may be drawn more to collaborative and interdisciplinary research. Lehigh ADVANCE will shed light on to what extent and how interdisciplinary work is gendered, not only in terms of participation but in terms of outcomes.
