As part of the ongoing efforts by Lehigh ADVANCE to develop and deliver resources to enhance the faculty recruitment process, the ADVANCE office has obtained a copy of the DVD Interrupting Bias in the Faculty Search Process by the University of Washington, UW ADVANCE Center for Institutional Change. The focus is on improving the evaluation processes of the multi-step faculty recruitment cycle. It provides case studies and delivers them in a way that individuals can both relate to personally and analyze intellectually so a search committee member's skill set grows. The film is accompanied by a facilitation booklet. The Lehigh ADVANCE team is available to faciliate this DVD to colleges, departments or search committees.
