Congratulations Dr. Genereau!

Dr. Kim Genareau, a research scientist in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, has been offered and formally accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Igneous Petrology/Volcanology at the University of Alabama.  Kim came to Lehigh in the fall, 2010 from the Arizona State University to pursue a post-doc under Dork Sahagian.  During her time here, she has been very active in scholarship and successful in landing external funding from NSF to continue her work in EES.  Also during her time at Lehigh, she taught EES 002 and EES 395 - Volcanology.  Frank Pazzaglia, EES Chair, said in a memo to faculty and students,  "Her success has landed her this position at U of A and she intends on starting in the Fall, 2013.   Please join me in sending warm congratulations to Kim.  I am certain that we will continue to see her name appear as a rising early-career researcher in the geosciences."
