Lehigh ADVANCE will provide $500 to five faculty from Lehigh to attend (in person or virtually) the upcoming Faculty Women of Color in the Academy Conference.
Interested colleagues can apply for the conference grant with this form now.
- Apply for one of five $500 grants to support your participation at the Faculty Women of Color in the Academy National Conference
- Conference hosted by Virginia Tech
- April 11-14, 2024, Crystal Gateway Marriott, Arlington, VA (Virtual Option Possible)
- Lehigh ADVANCE will award on rolling basis as long as registration to the conference is open; early bird closes December 31, 2023,
- Awardee must complete and submit proof of registration for reimbursement via OneCard

The Faculty Women of Color in the Academy (FWCA) conference is a unique educational and professional opportunity for indigenous and women of color in higher education to network, engage, and learn with colleagues from around the country. The 12th annual installment of FWCA will feature sessions that will explore the topics of leadership, career advancement, personal well-being scholar activism, and graduate school / emerging scholars.
