CCAS ADVANCE (Gender Equity) Case Studies
The following case studies were developed for CCAS programming and have been used with great success in Seminars for Deans and Chairs and at CCAS Annual Meetings. CCAS members may obtain a case study facilitator guide.
The topics range from hiring scenarios, advising a faculty member at a cross-roads, equity in mentoring and a case of tenure denial, and dealing with dual career issues. They are presented from both the college dean point of view as well as the department chair/head point of view.
