Recently Lehigh's Men Allies & Advocates for Gender Equity was included as part of a panel at a conference about the Theater Arts. Professor Will Lowry joined a panel and dialogue around the nature of this work in higher ed and linked the initial and necessary STEM focus to parallel work happening in the arts. He shared this photo of the panelists "Allies in the Arts" at the Southeastern Theater Conference in Knoxville, TN.

On October 24, ADVANCE launched a brief survey to all faculty members. The purpose is to gain the input of faculty to guide programming and resource priorities as we collaborate with the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity and other Lehigh community members that provide important support to faculty related to gender and other social identities.  Your response is greatly appreciated, no matter the amount of contact you may have or have had with ADVANCE.  The whole survey takes 10-12 minutes (partial responses are also welcome) and the survey will be open until November 21, 2018.

ADVANCE LU-WISE, our community of learning and support accross academic departments for all ranks and categories of faculty who identify as women in STEM (plus affiliates) is happy to provide our LU-Women in Science & Engineering Series for AY18-19 on the dates below. Graduate students may attend when noted in the event listing the session description. We may add other dates if interest supports doing so. Lunch is provided and RSVP is necessary for accurate food and space accommodations. Fall 2018 sessions will be in UC409.
