Michele Kimpton, BS Mechanical Engineering, ‘84, visited Lehigh University on April 12th. She gave two talks in support of Lehigh's Library and Technology Services initiatives: Lehigh Preserve, which is Lehigh’s institutional repository, and the development of a unit-wide network storage strategy. Ms. Kimpton was named a Digital Preservation Pioneer by the Library of Congress.
Research suggests women may be drawn more to collaborative and interdisciplinary research. Lehigh ADVANCE will shed light on to what extent and how interdisciplinary work is gendered, not only in terms of participation but in terms of outcomes.
